What Is the Easiest Way of Finding a Tattoo Design to Be Used as a Cover Up Prior to Going to the Tat Parlor?

I have an all black eagle tattoo, from ernie ball guitar string package, that was done by an amateur on my upper left arm, need to get covered. Any websites for catalogged designs or other helpful info appreciated.

Flickr has a ton of pics of tattoos but if I were you I would go to your tattooist and have them help you design something. It may be hard to cover with certain tattoos. Get a traditional panther head or something with a ton of black. Good luck!

You really should get a suggetion from an artist as to what would work and not work to cover up your previous tattoo attempt.

Black is something that is hard to cover up, and if it’s big, it’ll be even more difficult.

You might even have to do some laser removal surgery to get it light enough to put something else over it.

But really, see with a few artists on what they could suggest to put over it or if you should try to remove a little bit of the color, so you can have more options as to what you truly want to put there.

Because it is an all black tattoo it will be a bit harder to cover up but it can be done. Your best option would be to go to an expierenced artist in cover up work and let them look at it to see what kind of colors and designs could be used to cover it up.
