I want to start tattooing but im lost on what machine i should buy. I dont want the best of the best but i dont want a piece of crap either. There are so many brands and i just dont have the equipment knowledge. i would like to keep my budget under 0.

The brutal truth is 200 bucks wont buy you a whole kit. I cant think of any machines that are worth having under 150 and you need atleast 2. Then figure another 100 for a powersupply and 35 more for footswitch and clip cord. Already double your budget and havent even started to buy cleaning supplies and stuff to do sterilizing with. Sure you can find on ebay a kit that has all sorts of stuff in it for 85 bucks. But you get what you pay for. The machines barely hold a tune and if you dont know how to tattoo yet trying to learn to tattoo with a machine that is inconsistent will be an uphill battle best. The inks they send out are garbage and of questionable origin.
If your really serious about this then pony up the cash and do it right. I’m not saying spend 1500 bucks on a pneuma set up but your going to have to spend some. Please think about this really hard. This isnt something you can go into lightly. You buy junk equipment and scratch out some tattoos and you either have people that hate you for life cause they have to look at it all the time or they have to fork over money to have someone else fix it.
If your gonna do it please do it right. That means learning all you can about blood borne pathogens and sterile procedure. You need to keep yourself safe along with other people.
