I’m a trainee tattoo artist and i have to say the best cost effective way to sort out a bad tattoo is really getting a cover up. in other words just get another, better design over the top of the one you hate. I’ve had this done and i have also done it on other people and it works great.(although its only if you want another tattoo). also you are generally not limited to tribal designs if you want something else. best is to speak to your good tattoo artist who can help you decide
