In August I will give birth to my first, a boy, and I had always kinda thought I would get a small set of baby feet to represent it but now I am having second thoughts about it. I want something to represent how blessed and lucky I feel to have him and how no matter what happens throughout his life he will in a sense always be with me. So do you have any tattoo design ideas that would help me achieve this? Thank you so much!

This is kind of along the same lines of just general baby feet but a little more personal.
One time, I saw a woman who had tattoos of the footprints that were from the birth certificate on her feet. His left was on her left foot, and right on right. It was like the regular baby feet but cuter because they were actually his footprints.
It was a really neat idea.

Well babies born in august are leos. i like the idea of putting a small lion and putting his name under neath it. lions represent courage and bravery. you could also put the date under his name or next too it. or i also really like ‘allison’s idea of putting his foot prints on your feet.
i love all of the ideas and i love tats (have over 25 not big thought like a ton of stars up my spine and a word) but what happens when you have more kids and they wonder why you have tat for him and not for them? my dad got a sunset on his chest and y brothers and my name in the sky with two birds to sybalize that we are free. i love his tat and i will soon get one for him.
