is any1 else pi$$ed off with peoples perceptions of tattoos since miami ink, la ink, london ink etc?
since these types of shows came to us tattoos are becoming more and more popular and “mainstream” which is great! being some one with a some what “alternative” appearance im quite happy in the fact less people look at me like a freak………….the problem now is that instead of people giving me strange looks, im getting people asking me what all my tattoos mean!!!! yes…i know a lot of people get tattoos for a specific meaning……..but there are a hell of a lot of us who get tattoos because they look nice!
Once while drunk i let some1 tattoo the word A R S E on my left bum cheek………why, cos it was funny and i was drunk….it isnt becuase my dad died of cancer!
i see tattoos and piercings as a modification and decoration of the blank canvas i was given nothing more.
sorry……i just fancied a rant! lol

I have a big pink bow on my back & people are like “whats that mean/represent?” NOTHING. I got it cause I liked it…
Now it’s like it has a meaning of it’s own “Because I’m always tied up with your stupid questions”.
I don’t get the whole “representation” of them. I wouldn’t get an anchor because I’m going to settle down, or get a bird because I’m a free spirit. I’ll get what I want because I like it.
I TOTALLY get what your saying about your body is like a canvas… why not make it beautiful?
