How long does a tattoo waiver for the USMC take to get approved?
I have already gone to MEPS and did my medical, test, and all that I needed. I had a tattoo lasered removed from the back of my neck, when I went to MEPS the captain said it was fine and could get a waiver. Well the day I was going to swear in they told me that my waiver is (micrive review or something like that) with the WesternRegionComand and I couldn’t swear in. I have waited 3months now and I haven’t heard a thing. And every time I call my recruiter he tells me to be patient and that my tatt removal is being reviewed by high comand. Can anyone please tell me how this works? Is it normal not to get an answer for 3months. I know I can’t leave till next year but I want to know if i’m eligible to join still. Thank you
